Dr Ma Thida, is a surgeon and well-known writer in Myanmar. She is currently the executive editor of The Myanmar Independent Journal. In addition, she is also an editor and publisher of Teen Magazine, Shwe Amyutay magazine and ECHO Media. Dr ma Thida, is also actively involved in the writing and publishing scene. Till date, she has published up to 10 works and readings. This includes “The Roadmap”, a documentary fiction which was published under a pseudonym; Suragamika which was published by Silkworm publication in Thailand.
