Tradition in the face of change, Artisans Alive

This outdoor showcase brings some of the best and unique artisans from the region, from as far as Sri Lanka to Singapore for a stunning four day showcase of its patchwork, coconut craft, basket weaving, jewelry, carving, pottery, lace art and much, much more.

Waterways will see art in action with these artists giving demonstrations about their craft and art and how they use traditional techniques whilst remaining relevant to the world in the fast changing 21st century. The showcase will be accompanied by lively and vibrant performances from our Asian neighbours who remind us of who we are, where we come from, and the rich cultural fabric that makes us deeply Asian.
